I grew up in the southern United States. As a child, I enjoyed eating delicious southern staples such as fried chicken, apple pie, and biscuits. Due to my poor diet, I was extremely overweight by the time I reached my teenage years. Thankfully, during high school, I began a regular exercise routine. As a result, I lost weight.
